23RD SEPTEMBER EVENT IN COLLABORATION WITH CATCARE
This event almost didn’t happen, but we stuck to our belief and trusted that the weather would hold up, and it did! Rain only started falling at 3pm on the Saturday afternoon, after everyone was packed up and cleared.
The dog agility show with Talita and furries Pepsi & Blits kept everyone entertained, smiling and applauding for more. All her dogs are rescues. It just goes to show, old dogs CAN learn new tricks!
The snake demo by Mark Marshal (Sandula Conservation) is always a hit with the residents and the public alike. The glee, awe (and sometimes slight terror) on the little children and adults’ faces were priceless. It was very informative indeed. Mark answered everyone’s answers with confidence, putting to bed many fears connected to snakes.
CLEANUP OPERATIONS IN THE METRO
We are proud to be involved in WESSA and other cleanup operations in our Metro.
Here we are assisting Farmcom, together with EC Parks & Tourism Agency members from The Island, cleaning up the park at Cow’s Corner.
